Die Vulkane Costa Ricas sind Teil einer langen Vulkankette, die sich wie eine Perlenschnur von Nordkalifornien bis Süd-Chile zieht. Diese Tour führt Sie zum Vulkan Poás und zu dem hochaktiven Vulkan Arenal.

The costarrican volcanoes are part of a long volcanoe line, which extends like a pearl necklace all the way from northern California to southern Chile. This tour guides you to poas volcanoe and also to the highly active arenal volcanoe.

Beispiel einer Tour

1. Tag
Abfahrt um 6 Uhr vor Ihrem Hotel. Über Alajuela fahren wir zum Vulkan Poas um uns den graugrünen, brodelnden Kratersee anzusehen. Danach fahren wir weiter Richtung La Fortuna mit Zwischenstopps an einem Wasserfall und an einer Kolibristation. Wir übernachten in La Fortuna und mit etwas Glück sehen wir am Abend die leuchtend rote Lava des Arenal.
2. Tag
Wir besuchen die heissen Quellen von Tabacon und fahren weiter um den Arenalsee herum. Mit einem Besuch bei Doña Lilians Tierauffangstation beenden wir unseren Ausflug und fahren über die Panamericana zurück zum Bestimmungsort.
Bei der 3 Tage-Exklusivtour übernachten wir in Los Lagos und am Arenalsee und sehen uns einen Reptilienpark an. Zusätzlich besteht die Möglichkeit zu einem Reit- oder Bootsausflug.

Alleine diese Beispiele lassen sich wunderbar zu einer Rundreise zusammen fuegen.

Example for a tour

Day 1 

Departure at 6am from your hotel. Over Alajuela, we will drive to poas volcanoe to observe the green-grayish, bubbling crater lake. Afterwards, we will drive in the direction of la Fortuna with pit-stops at a waterfall and the hummingbird-station. We will lodge at la Fortuna and with a little luck, we’ll appreciate the red glowing lava from the Arenal volcanoe.

Day 2

We’ll visit the hot springs of Tabacon and keep going around the Arenal lake. With a visit at Mrs. Lillians animal shelter, we end the trip going over the panamerican highway and get back to the departure spot.
